my first post over here, thought i would share some amusing and cool shiznits. Also a thanks to the Abstract Earth crew for the great work on quality shows.

Frankie Bones and Joey Beltram toe to toe? :) some interesting stuff, i have no taste for serious net discussions anyway no matter who it is

More on the cool history tip, check out this article from a 1983 mag. Collusion on the advent of Disco and it's progression to House. The pages can be hard to read but filled with little gems.
points of interest:
-names of classic tunes and there producers, many of which are sampled but the originals are seldom heard
-history factoids ie: who started the first organized record pool
-interviews with founding djs
